CIESOL celebrates the recognition of three of its researchers with the UAL extraordinary doctoral awards

The Solar Energy Research Centre (CIESOL) of the University of Almería has reason to celebrate: three of its researchers have been awarded the Extraordinary Doctoral Awards granted by the International Doctoral School of the UAL (EIDUAL), in recognition of the highest quality doctoral theses defended at the institution.

The award recipients are Igor Mendes Lima Pataro, Elisabeth Gualda Alonso and Alba Hernández Zanoletty, who received their awards —a commemorative trophy and an accreditation diploma— at the ceremony held on the university campus. The photograph taken on that occasion perfectly captures the pride and joy shared by the three researchers.

These awards, organised by EIDUAL, recognise doctoral graduates who have achieved the highest distinction of Cum Laude in their thesis defence, demonstrating exceptional research excellence. The simultaneous recognition of three CIESOL members reflects the high scientific quality of the centre and its commitment to cutting-edge research.
