SolarPACES 2025, the global meeting point for solar thermal energy

Almería hosts SolarPACES 2025, the most relevant international conference in the solar thermal energy sector, bringing together more than 500 experts, researchers, investors, and business representatives from over 30 countries.

Under the theme “Concentrated Solar Power Systems: Thermal and Chemical”, this 31st edition of the congress provides a key forum to showcase the latest projects, technological advances, and emerging research lines related to industrial process heat generation and electricity production from concentrated solar thermal energy.

The congress is being held in Spain for the fourth time and is organized by the International Energy Agency (IEA), with the collaboration of the Ministry and CIEMAT.

Over the coming days, attendees will participate in conferences, workshops, and working forums aimed at facilitating knowledge transfer and fostering innovation in the solar thermal sector.
