The summer course ‘Challenges and opportunities in the integral water cycle’ was held on 9, 10 and 11 July and was a resounding success, exceeding all expectations. Due to the great interest generated, the number of places offered was increased to a total of 35 students, who were able to enjoy an intensive and enriching programme.

The course featured 13 lectures given by professional experts from various fields, including academia, business and local public administration. These presentations offered an updated and comprehensive view of the water sector, addressing crucial issues such as the new water legislation, highlighting the RD 3/2023 and the imminent Wastewater Treatment Directive, which will significantly impact Spain due to new requirements.
